Charity was unconvinced that bandits would not be out at this time of day, especially when the Emperor had just been killed. Her eyes were on the lookout the whole time, as she continued to race on. Once she noticed the flag of some sort, she assumed it was a group of bandits as well. She reached for the bow, and the stolen arrows. Drawing one of the arrows back, was probably the most thrilling experience she had had all day. That's when she shot an arrow into the brush where the movement was, hoping it would be accurate. With that, a sound came out of the brush.."Ouch!" Which, was not a normal excuse form a bandit. A man walked out, with four others following him. They were imperial soldiers, who looked to have confiscated a bandit camp.. The flag must have been proof. "Oh.." she said, her horse stomping in a very impatient pattern, ready to flee. "I do apologize." she said, looking at the man who had an arrow sticking out of his thigh. She couldn't help but laugh a little, since this was probably one of those dumb moments. However, she knew she was either in a great deal of trouble, or she was going to be let go. Patiently, she awaited them to pull the arrow out and continue on. "Guards! Arrest her!" the man said, pointing at her, her eyes grew wide, not ready to be put in jail today. With that, she looked back at her companion, "Time to go. Speed, don't look back, and I'll erase this little bounty when I get back from this mission." spurring her horse and fleeing towards Cloud Ruler Temple. They were nearing the place, therefore she knew this little accident would be over looked in time.

Durion had grimaced a little when the Imperials had walked out of the brush. He knew that meant trouble, especially considering she shot the leader of the little troupe in the leg. 'At least she can shoot,' he thought to himself. When she spurred on her horse though, after the group had decided that it was time to capture the both of them for one's silly mistake, Durion got a little peeved. All that adrenaline that was pumping in his veins should be used for something, this he felt strongly about.
As the girl got away at a good rate, the soldier's turned back on him and started to charge at him. He smiled.
He spurred his horse on, to follow after the girl, but as he went he flipped the dagger that was in his hand around and slammed the handle end into the side of one of the soldier's helmets causing either a severe headache or unconsciousness... and then a severe headache. The man who had been on the opposite side of the road with the flag had reached them by this time and was swinging his large stick with the flag on it at Durion's head. Swiftly, Durion drew the blade from his back-sheathe and easily sliced through the old stick. He followed the action with a good hard slam to the soldier's helmet teaching him to not attack fighters with sticks. By this time his horse had begun to pick up momentum and he was away from the group in no time.
It took some time to catch up to the girl, but once he did they were just about at Cloud Ruler Temple, or whatever it was that she called it.
"So... what means were you planning on using to erase that bounty, girl?" Durion asked curiously. He wanted to know what kind of connections this "companion" of his had before he got into any more trouble. Not that trouble was a terrible thing... but he didn't want to have to deal with more than he deserved.

I think the best way to handle this would be for you to make another character. We'll give Chels a bit more time because she was going through Midterms. If she doesn't respond in quite a bit more time then we'll just move on in the story without her. For now though, I'm waiting for her. Go ahead and make a character bio though. I'll delete both posts in a few days once I know for sure that you've seen this. (I will delete this after I get an answer) Can I take the role of Charity til' the original person comes back? I want to know how this story ends. I think I have a good idea of how the character responds and so on.

Best to PM it to Chels for now. Look in the Characters Thread for more information concerning this.

Charity had not looked back more than once to see her companion being charged at, knowing he could probably handle himself. If he was not capable of handling himself, he would not be paired with her. As she continued forward, she had come a reasonable distance from Cloud Ruler Temple... That's when she heard a voice, a familiar voice...It was Durion.
"Bounty?" she asked curiously, "I don't have to worry about bounties, nor should you. I'm positive that whatever task this is at hand, we will be forgiven for any... casualties that might fall." She was obviously avoiding the question, she knew very well he was asking HER how SHE could erase their bounties.
A small skeptical smile appeared on her face, her hood still hiding everything about her except for her voice and personality. She had her inside ways however, the companies she worked for gave her plenty of "I-O-U" notes, promising to repay her in some way. This note of course was one that would be tricky to catch up with again, however she did not doubt her abilities.
"We are soon there," she said, pointing towards a rather steep hill that they were going to have to journey up. "I trust you're horse is prepared for this hill? If not, we might have to travel on foot from here..."

Durion dismounted and began walking, pulling his horse simply to see if the horse could handle the landscape in and of itself. The horse faltered a little, but slowly was able to start making it up.
"No. Not working. Where do we leave the horses? And how long is the walk, girl?"
Durion began looking around for a good place to leave the horses. He saw a small grove of trees a couple hundred paces away. He mounted his horse and began trotting over there to tie up his horse. As he reached it, he got off and began tying the reigns around nearest branch. The horse at first resisted, but one good, stern look from Durion caused the horse to quiet down and be submissive.
Durion then turned to the girl and started walking up the hill.
