This thread is devoted to discussing your top ten and other people's top ten. If you feel all and you have a hard time choosing only ten... then just list off some of your highest ranking ones. This thread is for ACTION movies. If they are comic-action, that's fine... there simply must be a lot of ACTION therein.

Hmm... I'm guessing these are in order from best to worst? --- 1.) The Matrix. --- Mainly the first one. The others are good action movies, but lacking in story. First one has the best of both action and story and is a great stand-alone movie if need be. --- 2.) The Dark Knight Rises --- Just the most amazing superhero movie of all time. And that's coming from a Marvel fan. The story was incredible, the acting superb, the costumes were incredible. Explosions and massive hand-to-hand fights. What else is needed in an Action Movie? --- 3.) The Dark Knight --- Just as excellent as the Dark Knight Rises, except with the Joker instead of Bane. Loved the creepyness and the grimdark feel of it all. --- 4.) Sucker Punch --- Hot girls with guns, swords, and overly-dramatic fights. 'Nuff said. --- 5.) Return of the King (LotR #3) --- Fantasy movies at their best. Loved all the sword fighting and magic and how close Peter Jackson stayed to the original books. --- 6.) Book of Eli --- Post-Apoc, Guns, Densel Washington, and a Mission from God. Incredible must-see movie. --- 7.) The Avengers --- Entire movie is sci-fi, comic book action. I think that counts. ;D --- 8.) Star Wars episode IV; A New Hope --- Sure, the saber fighting is slow compared to the later movies such as Episode III, but hey. This one is the original. --- 9.) Star Wars episode III; Revenge of the Sith --- If you haven't seen this, I will personally take your American card away. --- 10.) Star Wars the Clone Wars --- It may be animated, but it is awesome and focuses on Jedi and Cones. One of my favorite eras in Star Wars. ---
Now, these top 10 are still all good movies. I just can't put all of them as #1 (sadly).

Very good choices. I have yet to see Sucker Punch. Not sure that's a movie to cuddle up with the wife and watch. Seems like a guy night flick.
Did you know that Disney bought Star Wars and now they are planning a Star Wars VII? Exciting junk.
I will post my favorites later. For now I just want to attack your list. Book of Eli? Really? I love Denzel and all but that was not one of his finer films. Maybe I just didn't jive with the feel of the movie but it felt... choppy and discombobulated. Love that he had memorized the whole Scriptures though. Very cool there.
I would placed Equilibrium above BoE though. Have you seen that one?

Seriously? That's a silly thing to do. Now they are all spoilt.
Equilibrium is a crazy action movie concerning an emotionless society and incredibly well trained justice force known as clerics. It's fascinating.
