If you see a movie and you want to rant or even just think out loud about it, try this thread. Rate things like: - Script - Storyline - Actors - Acting - Graphics - Combat - Effect on World Begin.

Coraline.
Storyline: 8.9 the book was very enjoyable and the movie wasn't horrible.
Actors: Well, voices in this case. 7.6 it had Dakota Fanning. That's the reason for the 7.6 points.
Graphics: Some of the best claymation I have ever seen. But... It's still claymation. 6.9
Effect: Little pebbles make small splashes, but I wish this rock was bigger than brave. 7.8

It wasn't a very popular movie, and I can see why. The book blew my socks off though. I critiqued it because I saw it recently.

((hmmm... my turn I guess))
Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Storyline: 9.6 Only reason not a 10, is because, even for comedy, it's a bit random.
Actors: 9.8 Skits and Silver Screen actors on the big screen. Considering there was about 15 people playing 30+ roles, really great nd always in character!
Graphics: 5.0 but they are meant to be that way. It's supposed to be a low budget movie on purpose.
Effect: 10.1 out of 10 All the background movement and stuff happening, you can watch this movie 100 times and see something new (I know this personally. I've seen it at least 100 times. ;D)

... ehhh, I dunno... I dunno about the Effect there. I might vote a few points lower on that one.. but perhaps I'm just a cynic.

It's so ooooooold.
And there is quite a bit of off-color jokes in there as well. Not the best.
Some spots are truly hilarious though, I will admit that.
But it's so ooooooold!

Hahaha, nice. Movie: Stranger than Fiction - Script: 10 - Storyline: 10 - Actors: 10 -- Didn't expect Will Ferrel to do a movie seriously... and it actually be good. Dustin Hoffman; Emma Thompson; Queen Latifah; Maggie Gyllenhall. It was a very enjoyable cast. - Acting: Quite fantastic... All were very believable. - Graphics: 8.0 The effect of the clocks and the timing things were very enjoyable. I think they were professional and enjoyable. - Combat: N/A -- Everything was believable... but I don't think there was much fighting. - Effect on World: Definitely changed my view of all writing experiences.

Movie: Home Alone 2 - Script: 7
- Storyline: 8 (the usual)
- Actors: 9 -- I just love Marv. He's ridiculously hilarious. Mikalay Calukanakan or w/e his name is just continually reminds me (merely with his presence) that he's a freaky druggy man now which makes me sad
- Acting: Meh. A lot of indicating, but that's the desired style and purpose so... I give it a 7
- Combat: 9 -- I love when little Kevin starts dishing out the beat-downs on the two bandits. Makes me laugh hard.

I havent seen "Stranger Than Fiction"...
Movie: They Live (1988)
Overview: A man finds some sunglass that allow him to see the world as it truely is. Under the control of aliens that live among us and are disguised to look like us and hidden subliminal messages everywhere.
- Script: 8.5/10 Overall, a good film --- - Storyline: 9.5/10 Really good. Doesnt feel rushed and everything is logical. --- - Actors: N/A/10 I dunno any of the actors so, N/A --- - Acting: 9/10 Really good for any film pre-2000. Believable and surprisingly good. --- - Combat: 8/10 A movie that gets the power of guns right. One fight scene between two characters (aka fists and feet, not guns) Is a bit slow, repetitive, and a bit longer than necessary. ---
