Yeah, I can understand your point and theirs. My Mom was also a bit skeptical. The story line is fantastic, I must admit. It is a little more steeped in "witch-craft" than LOTR though. There are spells and wands and stuff like that that are a bit darker... more into Herbology and Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms, Hexes, and the like. Also because of some terminology people become wary: warlock, witch, charms, hexes, wizardry, witchcraft, dementors, curses, wands, etc... But it is very enjoyable. I must admit.

Dag, I sorry, friend.
I love the library here in Vernal. It's quite legitimate imho.

Treasure Island. It's good, but they expect you to be a sailor or something. I don't know nautical terms from the 1800's. :c

It was. Until the entire experience was ruined by summer reading test and essay and junk. Now, that book angers me. >:\

I hate when books are corrupted by things such as that... I only like it when there is some sort of debate on the book, then I like to voice my opinion in a paper... well, perhaps "like" is not the right word... "can endure" would probably be better.

Ok, where are you at in the Mistborn series? I'd like to debate some of my ideas, but I don't want to give away spoilers...

Yeah, probably not far enough for good discussion... still in book two... the koloss army just showed up... sometime soon my wife and I are going to have to just sit down and finish the whole series... it's bugging me that I cannot continue at a good pace...

So, to revive a dead thread. What were your predictions?
I love all three books and I love the Alloy of Law.
I also loved the Way of Kings. Have you read that one yet?
